New Product: Weather Shield

North Berwick Lumber is pleased to announce that we now carry Weather Shield!  Weather Shield has been making doors and windows since 1955.  Recent construction that has used Weather Shield includes owner Don Thompson’s house in Rangeley, Maine.  Air-tight, sturdy in the face of harsh and changeable elements, and visually stunning, Weather  Shield windows are top notch.

A Great Day: Customer Appreciation Day & SWAT Event

The 2009 Customer Service Day and Bostitch SWAT event was a rousing success.

Vendors came and worked with contractors and customers alike, while the NBLC staff fired up the grill.

Customer Appreciation Day & SWAT event 2009!

Mark your calendars!  NBLC’s Customer Appreciation Day 2009 and SWAT event will be FRIDAY, JUNE 12th from 8am – 2pm.

New Products: Spring 2009

Spring 2009 has ushered in some great new products for DIY home-improvement and for home and business construction.

One of the first new products to arrive is TecTite.  These plumbing fittings use the “PUSH” method – pushing together in seconds to create a perfect and sealed joint.  No solder or torches or frustration required!  Guaranteed under a 50-year warranty, TecTite takes the hassle of out of plumbing.  TecTite is also removable, reusable and will join copper tubing, CPVC and PEX.  More information can be found on the TecTite website, or by calling or stopping by NBLC.  We are very happy to have this product and would love to show you how easy it is to use!

NBLC Beavers a Success!

The NBLC Beavers, the first all women’s pond hockey team to play in the New England Pond Hockey Tournament in Rangeley, Maine, met with great success.

Arriving decked out in NBLC jerseys and hunting-orange hats (part of the Rangeley uniform) the women’s team brought a new level of spirit and commitment to the New England Pond Hockey Festival.

The event coordinators put on a spectacular weekend for all involved: teams, supporters, and townspeople who opened their arms to all the hockey players.

A big thank you to the event coordinators and the towns people who made this event so fun!  The North Berwick Lumber Company Beavers had a great time and look forward to bringing more joy and spirit to next years festival.

 

Marketplace 2009: Emery Waterhouse Show

North Berwick Lumber Company had a successful weekend at the Emery Waterhouse show in Providence, RI this past weekend.  Many new products were examined and we’ll be introducing a few of our favorites over the next couple weeks here at the blog.
